Perfect spot to sip on a drink with your toes in the sand. Beautiful view and a great vibe. We kept my toddler entertained with the ping pong table and we got to listen to an awesome band. Drinks are a little pricey, but considering there is no cover charge for live music, we were happy to enjoy a few beverages. Will definitely be back to finish off another beach day!

So happy to see the Seafarer open for the season. I love the casual ambience, the river views, the varied seating configurations. And I was delighted to meet Junior and hear how he has revamped the food truck menu with local food and a variety of vegetarian offerings along with the standards.

Cool spot on the water for drinks. Good selection of canned seltzers and draft beers. IPAs were a little pricey, about $10. Single bathrooms for mens and womens so expect a line. Overall, great spot.

We had a great happy hour at the Seafarer Bar. This has to be one of my favorite chill spots in the Highlands. You can't beat the view, vibes and bbq from the Local Smoke food truck. The drinks are good as well. Make sure to check online to see which band is playing before you go. Highly recommend checking out The Seafarer if you're in the area.

The Highlands is a highly (all puns intended) underrated portion of the Garden State. Summer is the obvious vibe, but there's something about early autumn that just hit different. On an unrelated note, the foodtruck by the bar was insanely good. Super friendly service to boot.

Moving The Seafarer to 4 stars...wonderful location for live music, excellent views and cocktails. Soda mix and service has drastically improved. Would love more tables with umbrellas. Folks who work there are so pleasant...awesome locale for a day or evening out.

Nice chill spot on the water. Full bar. Some shaded area set which is dog friendly. Supposedly that's the only spot for dogs but I saw a few people with dogs on the pier /deck. Food was a Local Smoke. Had brisket sandwich and roasted clams. Both pretty good

The air is beautiful coming off the bay. The weather is devine this autumn day, the beer is local, and the food is from local smoke bbq. What's new here, is a tent that has 8-10 well-spaced tables. Only credit cards are permitted, a cashless place. Pet friendly. Deck and sand tables spread out at this marina.
